Fashion
Black Ensemble: Fashion for the Culture
This series, which is a passion project that I created and executed with a former colleague, celebrates Black leaders, influencers, and trailblazers in the fashion industry. As the series editor, I selected all of the talent, worked with Business Insider’s lifestyle editors to assign the stories, collaborated with our Photo team to commission original photography, planned special social promotion with our Audience team, and provided final edits on the features. Additionally, I project-managed this series, setting deadlines, tracking deliverables, and ensuring everything was published according to schedule.
I also worked closely with the Design and Development team to create a custom interactive visual feature, which I also edited.

Culture
Ayesha Curry finds her balance
I helped project-manage Business Insider’s May 2023 digital cover story starring Ayesha Curry. This entailed tracking deliverables across the Editorial, Audience, Video, and Design teams and assisting the editor in chief and creative director at the photo shoot. I also wrote a short piece detailing behind-the-scenes fun facts from the shoot.
LGBTQ+ Children's Animation
At Business Insider, I assisted in bringing together an award-winning, first-of-its-kind database that highlights the historical presence of 259 LGBTQ+ characters in children's animation. My responsibilities included editing the database report and four analysis features, as well as coordinating meetings with the Design team to discuss art direction and working with the Distribution team to plan social rollout.
This package won a GLAAD Media Award (Outstanding Online Journalism – Video or Multimedia) and a National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Award from the LA Press Club (Best Multimedia Package). It was also nominated for an ASME National Magazine Award (Lifestyle Journalism).
Me, First
This Business Insider series celebrates successful women who made pivotal decisions in their lives to prioritize their passions and well-being. As the series editor, I collaborated with editors across the Life division to decide which women to feature, worked with the Photo team to help coordinate original photoshoots with some of the sources, and planned social rollout with the Distribution team, all while tracking project deliverables. I was also the lead editor of Naomi Osaka’s personal essay, and I wrote the feature on choreographer Saleemah E. Knight.
We/Us/Ours
In honor of Pride Month, I worked with a handful of editors, reporters, and designers to assemble this package about LGBTQ+ communities and spaces around the world that foster collective queer support and empowerment. As the series editor, I helped brainstorm the package theme, track deliverables, and oversee the editorial direction, which included vetting and approving pitches, selecting the story slate, creating a content schedule, and writing the copy on the landing page. I also collaborated with the Design team to ensure visual cohesion through story art and social thumbnails, and I worked with the Distribution team to plan the social rollout and craft the text for a push notification.
The 21 Project
I worked with the Health team to compile 21 profiles about 21-year-old leaders, activists, students, and creatives who are coming of age during an unprecedented time. My responsibilities included compiling the entire source list, writing three and editing two profiles, and liaising with the Editorial, Design, Photo, and Distribution teams to bring the package together.
The Gold Plan
The Gold Plan is an editorial series about Olympians and their values, aims, and health regimens. As the series editor, I worked with the Health team to bring together a package comprising five interview features with Naomi Osaka, Mallory Weggemann, Anthony Joshua, Laurie Hernandez, and Karsten Warholm.

Better Me is an editorial series about improving your lifestyle and helping society through sustainable efforts and eco-consciousness. This project won an Anthem Award, taking home the bronze honor under the category "Sustainability, Environment & Climate" and the subcategory "Special Projects."
